It guarantees protection by government for all Mexicans without distinction of race, creed, social or political condition. Formulated under the presidency of Venustiano Carranza, one of the greatest achievements of the constitution is the redistribution of farmlands, forming the Ejido system or coop which has brought opportunity to the common man of Mexico.
