2009 Annual Spring Tennis Tournament ,23-28 March 2009

Linda Williams sent us this synopsis of the results of the tournament at El Dorado Ranch.

It was a terrific week of competitive tennis on both the advanced and intermediate level. El Dorado Racquet Club raised over $400.00 for our Education Scholarship Fund! These proceeds go directly to paying the cost of secondary education for our San Felipe students. Most of the students we support are in our program for 4 years.

All total this year we had 36 tennis players participating in both the doubles and the round robin portions of the tournament. At our annual meeting which will be held on April 13th, we will discuss the possibility of expanding the advertisement next year and possibly opening up this tournament to non El Dorado Ranch residents. We will keep everyone posted as to the decision of the Racquet Club Committee and the input from our members here at El Dorado Ranch. This meeting is open to owners and residents of El Dorado Ranch and will be held at the Pavilion meeting room starting at noon with lunch--for those wishing to purchase lunch. The business meeting will start at 1:00PM. Please come and share your input.
