Tony Reyes Fishing Trip, 7/9-7/14/06
San Felipe, B.C.Mexico

Boat: TONY REYES Chartermaster: __

FISHING, DIVING, EXPLORING

IN THE BEST PLACE OF

BAJA MEXICO

The water temperature was 75 degrees.

The trip, while hampered by severe days of intermittent wind and a full moon, was well enjoyed by the 27 anglers.

The count was topped by a Black Sea Bass of 46 lbs caught by Bob Braucher, a 38 lb Grouper caught by Bill Bennett and a 38 lb Yellow Tail which was a group effort by Tim Burke, Gene Fukomoto and Ken Yananaka.

We experienced a wide open bite on large Yellow Tail in the Salispuedes Canal at San Francisquito which continued as the Tonmy Reyes moved north with the Cabrilla bite improving. The Cabrilla bite was exceptional in the Enchanted Islands.

The large Humbolt Squid were very common south of Isla La Guardia.
