FISHING, DIVING, EXPLORING

IN THE BEST PLACE OF

BAJA MEXICO

The water temperature was 75 F aver

To start with we were coming from southern California. My group had never been on the "TONY REYES". The entire crew is so helpfull and willing to make your trip the best. Even we didn't know what to expect but we were very satisfied and will be telling everyone we know about the great time we had.

We started out fishing for bait Mackerel and found it as easy as placing your line in the water and immediately pulling it up with 3 to 4 on line. We used the bait for catching tons of Yellowtail and Cabrilla.

The next night we fished for Giant Squid. That was the most memorable night for me. The fun of trying to pull in the squid and trying to avoid the ink and water made it even more challenging. Squid was used for the remainder of the trip for bait as well as more Mackerel when available. The Sea of Cortez provided our trip with Yellowtail, Cabrillas, Red Snapper, Sheep Head, Spotted Bass and one very large Grouper weighing in at 110 lbs. caught by Wolfgang Prill of San Bernadino, CA who even ate it's heart. We'll be back next October for another week of fishing and fun.
