Weather: Flat seas, cloudy
Best Place: Enchanted Island
We can't tell you how much fun we had, and work too, catching all these fish. Pictures here.
Here is our story from this trip..
We left from San Felipe B.C. with a group of anglers to fish in the Sea of Cortez. This time our charter master was Harry Alexander.
This week we fished in almost every Island from Partida, Isla Raza, Isla San Lorenzo, and Bahia San Francisquito. Also Isla Angel de la Guardia and Enchanted Islands at the end.
The water temperature was 80 degrees average with neep tides. Fishing was slow every day. We fished with a live bait every day. We had a calm sea all week with a lot of clouds along the coast. The week before a big storm hit San Francisquito Bay area putting a lot of trash in the water like trees and cactus. Very few Dorados were caught, cabrillas and yellowtail were in the 15 pound range.
The Giant Squid didn't show up this trip. A 90 lb Sail fish was caught at San Francisquito Bay, a nice rooster fish was caught at Enchanted Islands. Well we hope everything gets better with the next tides. Thanks to everybody.
