TONY REYES FISHING TOURS B/M TONY REYES SAN FELIPE, BAJA MEXICO Sunday 8 August to Friday 13 August, 2004 Water Temperature 80 degrees CharterMaster: Bob Scott. Sorry. No Pictures today but this is our story. FISHING TRIP "TONY REYES"
We took 27 passengers aboard the "Tony Reyes" boat. Bob Scott from Bakersfield was the Chartermaster. We sailed down with a nice breeze. Monday: We anchored at "El Quemado" to unload the pangas and to make bait, later moving to Snake Island to start our first day of fishing. We caught Yellow Tail and Cabrillas. Tuesday: We fished at San Francisquito Bay. We caught Yellow Tail, Cabrillas and Spotted Bass. A very good day for every body. In the night we caught more Squid and Macarel for live bait. Wednesday: We moved to San Esteban Island. The weather was nice with a nice catch. I took my daughter to show her the Island; and the Seals, Lions and the caves of this Island. Having a lot of fun in the afternoon. Next we moved to Partida Island. Thursday: We fished the coast catching a lot of Pargos in the afternoon. We fished at Gonzaga Bay catching Cabrillas. Today the wind blew again. Friday: The last day we spent at Enchanted Islands with nice weather. It was great. We sailed to San Felipe to end up our trip. Salimos de San Felipe a las 11:00 A.M. y navegamos unas horas. Llegamos a la isla Vibora y pescamos unas horas y de hay nos fuimos a isla Rasa donde pescamos todo un dia. Y la otra isla a la que fuimos fue la de Salsipuedes, pescamos carnada para los pescados grandes de las pangas. De hay nos dirigimos a la Bahia de San Francisquito y entramos a ver las casas que estaban al otro lado de la bahia y mejor nos fuimos al barco, y en la noche pescamos calamares para comerlos y nos quedamos una noche y media. En la madrugada nos fuimos a la Isla San Esteban y Sarai y yo nos paseamos en kayak en la bahia de San Francisquito pues nos jalaba mi papa de una panga y agarrabamos muchos pescaditos. Al dia siquiente llegamos a la Costa Asamblea y pasamos por un lugar llamado La Botica porque tiene muchos muchos cerros de colores bonitos y brillantes. Se volvieron a ir las pangas a pescar a la mañana y nosotros algunos dias le ayudamos al cocinero a hacer el postre para la cena o en otras cosas. Le ayudabamos Sarai y yo. Perla Reyes Leon 11 años
