For more than fifteen years now the Beachcomber has been a favorite nightspot for both locals and tourists. With the capacity to entertain more than two thousand, the Beachcomber offers something for everyone.
First: BARRA DE ABAJO (The downstairs bar) This bar offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy your favorite cocktail and engage in stimulating conversation with old friends or new ones as you listen to your favorite tunes playing in the background. Sunday and Thursday are KARAOKE nights, with a huge selection of both English and Spanish favorites, and of course all major sporting events are shown on our 60” big screen TV’s.
Second: LA TERRAZA (The terrace bar) Is above the downstairs bar, and for that matter far above the rest of the world. You can spend the afternoon soaking up cerveza or margaritas, while listening to Jimmy Buffet and enjoying the sunshine and the spectacular 180 degree view of the Beach, the Sea of Cortez and San Felipe's Malecon (main beachfront street). And when you return in the evening the dance floor will be thumping and the people will be bumping to latest pop Latin and mainstream club beats, spun by the best Dj's in Baja. In this comfortable open air atmosphere, you truly can “PARTY WITH THE STARS”
Third: LA PLAZA (Ahhh last but in no way least), this incredible area will accommodate up to 800 persons for a sit down dinner, and more than 1,500 hard partying patrons for a live entertainment/dance event. The awesome, professionally engineered JBL/BGW sound system and a mind boggling intelligent lighting display which incorporates a 12 head / 3w laser light show will bend your senses in a way that alcohol alone just can't do. The large stage makes the Plaza a natural for contests, awards, and all types of entertainment. La Plaza del Beachcomber is open on most holiday weekends, also throughout Spring Break, and for several live entertainment and charity events that are held through out the year. La Plaza is also rented out for large private parties and events. (schedule permitting)
