San Felipe has some wonderful, friendly, bars. Weekends are very busy and during Easter Week and Spring Break you can hardly move in some of them. Alcohol is sold legally between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 a.m. The drinking age is 18

Club Bar Miramar - the place to have a drink - a San Felipe landmark for as long as anyone can remember. Definitely worth a visit.

The Barefoot Bar at the El Cortez
here is a place with old-world atmosphere. Ernest Hemmingway would have been right at home with the equipales chairs, tables and rustic atmosphere. This is a wonderful place to stop if you are walking along the beach and need a good cold beer or a Margarita. Food available. Also consider having lunch on the patio of the hotel - it is one of the most ideal settings in town. |
