THE TIDES OF SAN FELIPE

The tides of San Felipe
Wash the beaches clean
Revealing still another world
So briefly to be seen
For in just six short hours
The moon exerts its force
And covers up that minute world
And thus repeats its course

And when you walk upon that beach
Your worries disappear
As if the tide replaces them
With faith and hope and cheer!

I thought you might enjoy my poem after visiting San Felipe
in Feb. attending the Baja 250 Race 2004.
