Pacific Storms and Hurricanes
This is the excellent infrared picture of the northern Pacific that we get from Oregon State University. It shows the developing weather systems that come down from Alaska during the winter months. You can generally see the vast red colorations with an anti-clockwise swirl that characterize these storms. The more intense the colors, the stronger the storm is likely to be.

In the Pacific hurricane season (15 May to 30 November) we add this feed from the University of Hawaii that gives us the tracks of the Hurricanes that impact our weather in Baja.
